Guo Qi

Guo Qi (;〔(国象世青赛雅典鸣金 郭琦获女子冠军丁立人男子第三 )〕 born January 27, 1995 in Jiangsu)〔(WGM title application ) FIDE〕 is a Chinese chess player who holds the titles of International master and Woman Grandmaster.
She won the World Junior Girls Chess Championship in 2012.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=World Junior Chess Championship 2012 Girls Under 20 )〕 This achievement earned her the qualification for the Women's World Championship 2014, which was eventually postponed to 2015.
In November 2012, Guo competed as FIDE president nominee in the Women's World Chess Championship 2012, in which she was eliminated in the first round by Natalia Zhukova.
She was a member of the Chinese team that won the silver medal in the 2013 Women's World Team Chess Championship in Astana, Kazakhstan.
In August 2014, she won both team and individual silver medals, the latter on the reserve board, in the 41st Chess Olympiad (Women).〔(FIDE: 41st Chess Olympiad Winners )〕
She took part in the Women's World Chess Championship 2015, where she was knocked out in the first round by the eventual runner-up Natalija Pogonina.
